Morrinsville War Memorial Centre

Image

Major-General L.M. Inglis formally opened the Morrinsville War Memorial Hall on 20 November 1957. The complex included a memorial loggia, restroom, concert chamber and the municipal library. The building was substantially remodelled in 1999. The Morrinville & District Second World War roll of honour is on display below a perpetual lamp in the foyer. The two brass tablets list the names of 80 men who gave their lives.
