Āperahama Morenui (or More) signed the Waitangi sheet of the Treaty of Waitangi on 28 April 1840 at Kaitāia. He was a rangatira (chief) of Te Rarawa and was from Ōruru.
Āperahama was involved in four land sales in the Mangōnui district. In 1839 he signed documents to sell the Parapara block in Doubtless Bay to Joseph Matthews of the Anglican Church Missionary Society. Matthews received 10 acres (4 ha) of Raramata and Te Rarawa kept the rest. Matthews also bought the Waioioi, Ōruru and Parawai blocks from Āperahama and others in 1839.
In 1856 the Ōruru block was sold to the Crown through W.B. White and H.T. Kemp for £350. In 1861 Āperahama was a seller of the Hikurangi Block at the head of Ōruru. Kemp paid £250 from the Crown.
