Robert Scott memorial in Christchurch

The memorial to Robert Scott in Christchurch includes a plaque commemorating the relationship between Christchurch and Antarctica and another for the men and women who assisted with New Zealand's Antarctic Programme from 1957 to 2007.

Update

As this picture shows, the Robert Scott memorial was severely damaged in the Christchurch earthquake of 22 February 2011.
