Panorama: steps of Parliament
Panorama from the front entrance of Parliament House.
Shows the bronze outer doors and a mosaic depicting the Royal Coat of Arms (which is also sculpted in marble above the doors). 'DIEU ET MON DROIT' is the sovereign's motto - 'God and my right'. 'HONI SOI QUI MAL Y PENSE' is the motto of the Order of the Garter, translated as 'Shame on him who thinks evil'.
