Ararimu Roll of Honour

Ararimu Roll of Honour

When the new Ararimu hall was opened on 23 November 1957, rolls of honour were erected listing men from the district who had volunteered for service during both world wars: 25 men from the First World War, eight of whom were killed, and 34 men from the Second World war, four of whom were killed. The hall itself was not dedicated as a war memorial hall, and was completely rebuilt in 1998, but the rolls of honour are still on display in the foyer.
