Big Day Out 2009

A crowd watching The Black Kids at the 2009 Big Day Out in Auckland. The Big Day Out is New Zealand's longest running rock music festival, having been staged in mid-January every year since 1994 (except 1998) at Mt Smart Stadium (known from 1995 to 2006 as Ericsson Stadium) in Penrose, Auckland. It presents the best overseas acts from the Australian leg of the festival, along with top New Zealand acts.
