Cover of 1920 Olympic Games programme

This programme cover for the 1920 Olympic Games at Antwerp, Belgium, was owned by Violet Walrond, our first female Olympian. Walrond attended these games as one of four participants in the first official New Zealand team. While the Olympics vigorously excluded professional athletes until recent decades, Games organisers had fewer problems with cigarette advertising, as this programme shows.
