Evacuated troops arrive in Egypt from Crete

Exhausted soldiers evacuated from Crete arrive in Alexandria, Egypt, on board a Royal Navy destroyer. Around 16,500 Allied troops – including some 5000 New Zealanders – were taken off the island between 22 May and 1 June 1941.
