Felix Mathieu - Maungatapu murders

Felix Mathieu, a publican and storekeeper who was killed at Maungatapu. On the back of this image it says that the dog of Mr Price, a stepson of Mathieu, found John Kempthorne's hat which led to discovery of the bodies on 28 June 1866.
