German medical examination kit

A German medical examination kit souvenired during the battle for Passchendaele in 1917.

The kit consists of a white cotton case and five instruments: thermometer, tweezers, spatula, probe and needle probe. The back of the case has 'Souvenir 4th Oct [1917], The Battle of Ypres', 'Oct 12th 1917', and 'W092' written on it.

The contents of the medical kit should be: thermometer, tweezers, spatula, nail cleaner (4th item from left) and needle probe. The kit is identical to that used by Germany in WW2 (apart from the needle probe, second from left) which was not standard issue). Kevin Gray (UK)
