Holy Trinity’s First World War memorial was a pulpit, installed in 1921 with a plaque reading: “In sacred memory / of all / the men from this parish / who fell in the Great War / 1914 – 1918”. The pulpit was removed from the church some decades ago, although the plaque was retained.

After the Second World War the parishioners decided to build a brick chancel as a war memorial. The foundation stone was laid on 28 September 1956 and the new chancel was dedicated on 1 June 1958.

In July 2014, because of declining congregations, Holy Trinity was closed and deconsecrated. The First World War memorial plaque from the old pulpit has been donated to the Waiuku Museum.
