Stellin Memorial Park in the suburb of Northland, Wellington. The memorial lookout includes a plaque and an information panel about James Kingston Stellin.

Stellin was a New Zealand Pilot Officer serving in the RAF who on 19 August 1944 gave his own life to save the inhabitants of a French Village. See also the memorial to James Stellin in France.

Stellin was born in Wellington and attended Scots College. The information panel says, 'In 1964 following the death of his father, the land now known as Stellin Memorial Park was bequeathed to Wellington City Council in memory of James Stellin. This lookout was built later in 1977.'

His father, James Stellin, served with the Wellington Mounted Rifles Regiment in the First World War. See his service record here
