Kowai Bush war memorial. The memorial is located near the intersection of Kowai and Rubicon Rd. 3km north of Springfield, off State Highway 73. It is a cement structure composed of a single column surmounted with an effigy of St George and the Dragon. Inscriptions reference various casualties from the world wars. The memorial was refurbished c2010.
