Nambassa festival poster, 1978

Nambassa festival poster, 1978

A poster for the first Nambassa festival of arts, crafts and alternative lifestyles in 1978, which drew over 25,000 revellers. From that year Nambassa was held on Landlyst Rd, Golden Valley, near Waihi. This poster is a fine example of the art nouveau-influenced design that was made famous in the 1960s psychedelic era.
