
This view of Parliament Buildings is from Sydney Street (which then ran from what is, today, Sydney Street West through to the bottom of Mulgrave Street). The building on the left was designed by William Clayton in 1871 and was destroyed by fire in 1907. The General Assembly Library (which remains today) is on the right.
