The Oriental Bay Tea Kiosk, 1914.

The Oriental Bay Tea Kiosk in Wellington was a tea room from 1914 to 1917. It was known as the Oriental Bay Private Hotel and Tea Kiosk from 1917 to 1920 and then became simply the Oriental Private Hotel (1921 to 1944/45). It was a YWCA Hostel from 1944/45 to 1957 and was later a Labour Department Hostel. It was demolished c 1981.
