The Black and White milk bar, plans

wall plan

Wall and light detail of the Black and White Milk Bar, from the original plans by F.E. Greenish, 1935

The lavish use of Vitrolite in the Black and White gave that milk bar its name. Large panels of black and white Vitrolite sheeting decorated the bar, while walls were clad in a combination of Vitrolite and heavy sheets of mirrored glass.
