This image is of the War Memorial located at Waiotemarama at the Sports grounds which are on State Highway 12 opposite the entrace to Waiotemarama Gorge Road.
This photo is actually of the Memorial that stands in the grounds of the old Waiotemarama School. It is the Waiotemarama Memorial. There is no memorial in Waimamaku. It was erected at the junction of State Hiway 12 and Waiotemarama Gorge Road and was moved to its current position after the closure of the school in the 70's. Services are held there every Anzac day.
