Waipiata war memorial near Ranfurly (on the rail trail). Early in 2011 the angel on top of the memorial was restored by the local RSA with the help of a considerable fund-raising effort  by the local community. The top image shows the unrestored version,  click on thumbnails 2-3 above to see the memorial post-restoration.

Near the memorial is the Waipiata war memorial hall - this does not contain a roll of honour.
