Alf Moffat is the subject of a Rodney Times article on the anniversary of Passchendaele. Check out www.localhistoryonline.org.nz for the issue details etc. Regards

I have just started researching our family tree and discovered my great great Uncle is one of the dead commemorated on the Wharehine war memorial. His name is Alfred Moffatt and was killed in action in WW1.
