The Woolston war memorial is the Cricket Pavilion Building on Woolston Park, Ferry Road, Woolston, Christchurch. (There may be the plaque inside with the names on it, but the building was locked when I visited).

Update - the memorial after the Feburuary 2011 earthquake:
