New Zealand troops enter Tripoli

After the Allies' breakthrough at El Alamein in October 1942 the New Zealand Division helps pursue retreating German-Italian forces along the Libyan coast. On 23 January 1943 the New Zealanders were the first Commonwealth troops to enter the city of Tripoli.
