Rawi signed the Cook Strait (Henry Williams) sheet of the Treaty of Waitangi on 29 April 1840 at Port Nicholson, Wellington. This is probably Aperahama Rawi, who signed the Enclosure No. 9 ‘Release from the Kaiwarawara natives to the New Zealand Company’ in 1844. [1]
