This note appears in connection with Gilberthorpe, Annie: "This roll also lists an Ann Gilberthorpe from Yaldhurst, who is likely to be related"
Annie was the daughter of Ann (1833-1921) who came to NZ from Carlton, Nottinghamshire with her husband on board the Mary Anne in 1859. Annie Gilberthorpe was born in 1868 and died in 1941. Ann’s husband, and Annie’s father, was Charles Gilberthorpe (1828-1915).
