After the Christchurch Earthquake no-one is allowed to go within 5 metres range of the bridge. Though you can still see the Bridge.

I hope it stays. Their deciding whether or not to pull it down. It's awesome cos when u go to the pop art city, you can see the bridge. A constant remider of what happened....
