Ruakākā Memorial Hall

The Ruakākā war memorial hall was opened by the Minister of Internal Affairs, S.W. Smith, on 29 June 1955. The hall does not have a memorial plaque or a roll of honour, although for some years the words ‘Lest we forget’ were emblazoned behind the stage.
