The Anzac Memorial Hall (right), Te Rewarewa Marae, Rūātoki.

A First World War memorial dining hall was opened at Te Rewarewa Marae, Rūātoki, in 1929. In 1955 this was replaced by the larger Anzac Memorial Hall, commemorating those who served and died in both world wars..

The First World War roll of honour inside the hall lists 34 names; the Second World War roll of honour lists the names of 18 men who were killed in action and 76 returned servicemen, as well as the names of three men who served in the Korean War.
