Check out this handwritten letter from Paul McCartney written on Hotel St George stationery! The item is part of Hard Rock International's memorabilia collection and is currently on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Miami.

This is an amzing page, I was in the middle of that crowd outside the Hotel ST George and then went to the 2nd concert that night ion the old Wellington Town hall, I remember being blown away by Sounds Incorporated who were one of ther support acts. We didnt hear much of the Beatles set, but it was an amazing pice of Rockn roll history to be there. I still remember one of my mates saying "will you look at all the pantys on the seats" as we left the Town Hall.

I was there in that crowd. I saw theBeatles show. I was one of those girls who screamed until i lost my voice. There were Police lining the walls of the Wellington town hall. You couldnt hear the show, just Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yes I was one of the screaming 16yr old girls who stood on top of our seats right at the back of the theatre so that we could see the distant figures on the stage even tho we couldn't hear them.
Minimal sound systems in those days and no Overhead screen. We were all in hysteria and poured out of the theatre to go to the Hotel they were staying in and were so thrilled to see them all come out onto the balcony. Tears everywhere and such a sense of amazement that that our idols had come to NZ.
