During Queen's Birthday weekend I took my 89 year old father (Peter Wright) to visit his old school, Muritai and he remembers the war memorial being there when he started school in 1926.
as far as I remember,the war memorial is in the grounds of muritai school,or it was when I attended in 1963-4
Hello I generally attend the cenotaph each remembrance day on behalf of my deceased father who was a d-day veteran however I cannot make it to London this year and would like to know the location of Eastbournes memorial I have very recently moved into the area and as yet have not got around much.
