Kakanui war memorial.

The memorial is a dark grey polished granite square obelisk in three sections on a plastered concrete plinth on three steps. The memorial includes two rose beds and an extensive area of public land on the corner of Kakanui Rd and Fenwick St.

Note there is also a Kakanui memorial grove.
