This memorial has been cleaned up and a plaque added at the bottom naming WWII veterans. The inscription reads "To the memory of the men who gave their lives in the cause of freedom. Second World War. 1939 - 1945." Names are B Atkins (my great-uncle), J Silbery, and JG Thomson.
I have great photos if you want them!
