The Levels / Washdyke war memorial in its original location, c1986.

The Levels / Washdyke memorial in it's new location, 2010.
Information from Margaret Todd: 'These photos are of the newly relocated Levels Washdyke memorial at Washdyke near Timaru, opened in time for Anzac day 2010.
It has been shifted to a grassy area just north of the original site, which was on the junction of SH1 Timaru to Christchurch and SH8 to Pleasant Point/ Mt Cook. Traffic lights have now been installed there necessitating the shift.'
