First World War commemorative rock, Great Barrier Island
A Commemorative rock bearing a plaque and the names of those who died during the First World War has been established on the reserve opposite Tryphena Hall on Great Barrier Island. Nearby, a Norfolk Pine was planted as a memorial in the Old School Building area.
