Lion Rock, Piha war memorial

An Anzac Day procession makes its way to Lion Rock, Piha's war memorial in 1985 or 1986. The service each year is held at low tide.

The memorial includes 2 memorial plaques – one records the men mainly from the Piha sawmill who fought in the First World War. The other records the men associated with Piha who fought in the Second World War.
