Waiuku war memorial.

Information from the Manukau City Council:

9 June 1921 - the Waiuku war memorial is unveiled. This takes the form of the traditional inscribed obelisk, but the people of Waiuku later also establish the Franklin Memorial Hospital (28 April 1923), and erect a roll of honour in the local public hall (25 April 1931).
