The Glenavy public hall, opened in March 1924, is not a war memorial hall but does contain five rolls of honour. These include two framed lists of men from the Glenavy district who served in the world wars; two wooden tablets listing servicemen from nearby Tawai (these were possibly transferred from the Tawai School when it closed down in 1947); and a third wooden tablet listing the two men from Glenavy who were killed during the First World War (Lieutenant George Isaac Cuthbertson and Private Eugene Francis McCarthy).
