Amelia Frances Moore was born 1853 and died 1936 aged 83 years. Had a very nice voice and was often a solo singer at concerts and entertainments.

Her husband, Thomas Moore, died 1 Dec 1888 age 39. He was a storekeeper but also the Captain of the Woodville Rifle Volunteers and both were present and Mrs Moore presented prizes to winning members at the opening of the Drillshed in Ross St, on the 20? August 1886. They had five children and lived in Ross St, Woodville. In 1889 Amelia continued to be listed as a storekeeper. She was listed as Boarding house keeper 1894 – 1902 in the Wises Directory.
