This entry appears to be for Sarah Ann Knigge whose family were living in Wakari, Dunedin in the 1890’s.
Sarah Ann Richardson was born in 1860 in New Zealand – the daughter of James Richardson and Charlotte Waters.
She married August Herman Knigge in 1885 and they had two children.
When Sarah signed the suffrage petition the family were living in Wakari in Dunedin and August served on board of the Wakari School in 1892.
They moved to Otaki then to Marton where August died in 1934 and Sarah died on 13 October 1950 – they are buried together in the Mount View Cemetery.
