Isabella/Bella Campbell Finch was born about 1856 in Rosshire, Scotland – the daughter of Roderick Fraser, a farmer, and Janet McLeod.
She came to New Zealand with her family as an infant - they lived at Seacliff, north of Dunedin.
Isabella married Mark Finch on 1 October 1891 at the Crookston schoolhouse – they had no children and when Isabella signed the suffrage petition they were living at 'Athol' near Milton. She died at their home on 26 August 1925 and Mark died in 1935, they are buried in the Fairfax Cemetery, Milton.
