Christina Allen Brugh was born in 1865 in Port Molyneux – the daughter of James Brugh, a farmer, and Isabella Thomson. (See 126 Isabella Brugh)
When Christina signed the suffrage petition she was living at the family farm 'Wisphill Station' near Purekireki in the Owaka Valley.
About 1896 Christina with her mother and her two sisters (See 126 M C Brugh and 126 M Barnett Brugh) moved to Dunedin and lived in Serpentine Avenue.
Her mother died in 1897 and after this Christina lived in Oamaru and Wellington where she died on 23 June 1922.
She is buried in the Karori Cemetery, Wellington.
