Elizabeth St Clair McLandress was born in New Zealand in 1863 – the daughter of John McLandress, a boot merchant, and Isabella Taylor.
The family lived in Duncan St, Dunedin where Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition.
Her father died in 1896 and in the 1900s Elizabeth and her mother moved to New South Wales in Australia.
She died in New South Wales in 1923 and she is buried in the Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney with her mother.
