Esther Morgan died 5 February 1929.
Otaki Mail 6 February 1929 reports:
The death occurred at Woodville yesterday, of Mrs Esther Morgan, wife of Mr Richard Morgan, of Adele Street, at the age of 80 years. Deceased was a native of Cornwall and came to New Zealand in 1874. With her husband she resided in the Woodville district for the last 48 years and is survived by Mr Morgan and two sons, J and W Morgan, of Woodville.
