Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley
Margaret Loudon was born in 1867 in New Zealand – the eldest daughter of James Loudon, a mine manager and storekeeper, and Elizabeth Wilson. (See 150 E Loudon)
When Margaret signed the suffrage petition she was living with her family at Walton Park, near Fairfield, working as a clerk, presumably in the family business.
She died at Andersons Bay, Dunedin on 19 May 1931 and is buried in the Green Island Cemetery.
