Maggie Buckley

Biographical information provided for the He Tohu exhibition:

Maggie was born Margaret Catherine Carvell in New Zealand in  1871 to Frederick and Isabella McDougall Carvell – She became the daughter in law of Ann Jane Buckley (beneath  whose name she appear on the petition)  when in 1892 she married Charles Henry Buckley of Whanganui , a Blacksmith. They had four sons between 1895 and 1908. Maggie died in November of 1908 some short time after the birth of her last child.
