Margaret Sedcole

Biographical information provided by Briar Barry for the He Tohu exhibition:

Margaret Martin was the daughter of a shipwright from Wellington who was lost at sea. She married Albert Sedcole in Canterbury but moved to Pahiatua, where her husband farmed and had become a prominent member of the community, sitting on many local boards and councils. The couple had 12 children. Margaret died in 1920.
