Biography contributed by Katherine Blakeley
Elizabeth Osborne was born in England - she & her husband Oliver were farming in Owaka when Elizabeth signed the suffrage petition.
She is possibly the Elizabeth Edmonds who married Oliver Osborn in London in 1874.
Elizabeth and Oliver had nine children between 1876 and 1893 – they were still living in Owaka when Oliver died in 1923 - he is buried in the Owaka Cemetery.
Elizabeth was living in Owaka in 1931 when she sued her son for rent on a property.
Where and when she died is unclear.
