BOULT-—On December 31, 1938, at Wellington (suddenly), Edgar Charles (Soldier), 4610, 7th N.Z. Contingent, South African War, and late of Defence Department, dearly loved husband of Charlotte Boult,6l Abel Smith Street; in his 57th year. In the hands of his Creator. Interment at Karori on Tuesday, January 3, 1939.

MAN FOUND SHOT
Mr. Charles Edgar Boult, [sic] aged 57, a well-known and respected member of the Wellington branch of the South African War Veterans' Association, was found dead in a building in Lambton Quay late on Saturday afternoon. There was a wound in his head and a discharged rifle was found lying beside his body. The rifle was one of the old .303 calibre used in the South "African War. The late Mr. Boult, who resided at 61 Abel Smith Street, had been in ill-health for a considerable time. Mr. Boult had been cleaning out the building and was dress-! Ed in working clothes, another suit being found on the premises.
Mr. Boult was a member of the 7th Contingent and was secretary of the Wellington branch of the South. African War Veterans' Association. He was held in. high esteem by all who. knew him. The funeral is being held this afternoon, South African War veterans attending.
